Numbers Dropping And Strangely I Am Excited

This morning I was very nauseated and fatigued, I knew this was coming but not this soon. After speaking with a few of my doctors, and getting a print out of my counts. It's showing that the chemo is doing what is supposed to. I will be Neutropenic by tomorrow, which means my counts are getting lower so then they can be rebooted. In the meantime I am just getting some nausea meds and I will be sleeping more. And of course dreaming of not having MS or at least not having the day to day pain and discomfort. My water pills seem to be working well as I am going to the bathroom every 30 seconds it seems. I am guessing the Lake Michigan water level is rising because of me. Here is a breakdown of my numbers for those of you that watched enough ER.

White Blood count on 7/19 12.25 Neutrophil # on 7/19 8.67
White Blood count on 7/20 7.71 Neutrophil # on 7/20 6.80
White Blood count on 7/21 4.57 Neutrophil # on 7/21 4.22
White Blood count on 7/22 1.93 Neutrophil # on 7/22 1.70

I think that I will be in need of platelets starting Sat. or Sun. but that is just an educated guess based on what I have been told. Thank You all again! I really could have not done this without you.

Congratulations on your numbers dropping! That is wonderful news, you are on your way to the official reboot! I am sure all those trips to the bathroom are in the way of you sleeping. I hope you get some rest and continue your reboot with that positive attitude! Natalie says she is thinking about you all day!

Hi Kathy,

Good job on getting your numbers down. Keep hanging in there. Things will get better. Hope your trips to the bathroom are less frequent and you can get some needed rest.

Have a better day :)

Love,

Jim, Debi, & Gavin

A woman can be as great as she wants to be. If you believe in yourself and have the courage, the determination, the dedication, the competitive drive and if you are willing to sacrifice the little things in life and pay the price for the things that are worthwhile, it can be done.

Hi Kathy -

More power to ya! I will be joining you on Aug 6 (assuming you are still "incarcerated" at the "spa"). I have MS and will be getting the reboot too.
